Happy Birthday to me! :) I've only been awake for an hour, but so far it has been awesome!! I'm hoping that 27 is as good a year (or even better) than 26 was... lots to live up to, but off to a great start. :)
I have the day off from work, so endless possibilities lie ahead for today!

I remember your first birthday-- year zero! In fact, I am the only person reading this who can honestly say that he remembers all of it since your mom was sedated. Happy Birthday, Alison! Buy yourself a giant zucchini to celebrate. (Explanation-- there is a Meneely family picture of me holding newborn Alison in one hand and a zucchini in the other, and the zucchini is bigger.)
